A charming escape in history
Staying at Old Vicarage B&B was a charming experience. The historical beauty of the property, combined with Kay's personalized breakfast service, truly made our mornings delightful and set a perfect mood for exploring.
The upstairs location might be challenging for those who struggle with stairs, and a key for late returns would enhance convenience.

Charming vintage decor, beautiful historical property, relaxing log burning lounge
The church bells can be bothersome, especially for light sleepers!!! upstairs accommodations may not suit those with mobility issues!!! A key for late-night access would definitely enhance the experience!!!

Staying at the Old Vicarage filled me with joy, bringing together history and modern comfort. The room layout in the Three-Bedroom Suite provided ample space, and the decor reflected charming vintage touches throughout. Breakfast was absolutely delightful. Kay prepared it with fresh ingredients, making it feel special every morning. I especially appreciated the welcoming atmosphere that Kay and Ian created—always there to offer personalized recommendations and assistance. The gardens were a lovely bonus, enhancing the serene environment. A slight downside was the hourly church bells from next door, which could disturb light sleepers, but I found them charming. The upstairs accommodations might pose a challenge for someone with mobility issues, as stair access could be tricky. Nevertheless, this vicarage made for a memorable stay overall, thanks to its unique character and attentive hospitality.

Our stay was truly delightful, especially enjoying a hearty breakfast each morning and relaxing with a cup of tea in the cozy lounge area. The gardens are beautiful, and we also loved the option of soaking in a classic freestanding bathtub after a long day out. The only tiny hiccup was a bit of noise from the hallway at times, but it didn’t take away from the charm. 😊
